Janelle Meets 'Take On Me'

I will have access to a scanner later this week and will replace my recent stuff with higher-quality images.

That said, I'm on a huge Janelle Monáe kick, and when I saw this picture, I immediately thought "A-Ha!" and then this sketch happened. I know the head is too wide and her hair sticks out a bit too far (though I kinda like the latter accident because I think it makes her style seem a bit more 80s-ish and therefore fits in with the whole "Take On Me" stylization), but beyond that, I'm pleased with this. I'm gonna do another sketch of just her hand holding the pocket watch, because I need more practice with hands
